As Head Consulting Product Designer for a Financial Investment Client Portal, I led the transformation of complex, data-driven financial information into an accessible, user-centric platform. Through close collaboration with client stakeholders, I helped establish a design vision that aligned with business goals and offered real value to users.
Project Goals
The goal was to design an intuitive client portal that presented financial data in a clear, actionable format, allowing users to make well-informed decisions quickly. The design needed to maintain brand cohesion across a large corporate structure.
Challenges
Key challenges involved translating intricate financial data into a simplified, visually digestible format. Balancing the precision of financial reporting with ease of use was critical, as was maintaining consistent branding and a cohesive user experience.
Process
Through discovery that involved stakeholder interviews, requirement-gathering sessions, heuristic evaluations, competitor analysis and more, we defined the business goals and user needs of the project developed user stories for key features and tasks there in, these were then translated into high fidelity prototypes which were then handed off to engineering.
Outcomes
The final product was a streamlined, highly functional client portal that provided users with intuitive access to essential financial data. By transforming complex information into actionable insights, the platform boosted user engagement and enabled faster, better-informed decision-making, proving both accessible and impactful.
